To restore a window is to reverse the process of maximizing it. The window changes from covering the entire screen to its previous size before it was maximized. This is accomplished by clicking the middle button of the three on the toolbar at the upper right of the window. This button will change its appearance when the window is restored, and it will become a maximize button. The word restore can also be used in some other contexts such as restoring a file to a disk after the file has been deleted. After you minimize a window, you can get it back by clicking the button on the taskbar that represents the window. This might be thought of as restoring the window.

Restore is a way of “going back” to what your site was previously. If you decide the current version of your site is not working for you, and you wish you could go back to the way it was before, you can restore your site to a previous version. Restoring that version makes it the current working version. You must still publish it for it to be visible on the Internet.
