USS Lexington (CV/CVA/CVS/CVT-16), known as "The Blue Ghost", was an Essex-class aircraft carrier, the fifth United States Naval ship named in honor of the Revolutionary War Battle of Lexington.

The fourth USS Lexington (CV-2), nicknamed the "Gray Lady" or "Lady Lex", was an early aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. She was the name ship of the Lexington class.

The first USS Lexington of the United States Navy was a brigantine purchased in 1776.
