The muscles in your stomach. If someone has a well developed mid-region they are said to have a "six-pack".
These are more commonly referred to as a “six pack” especially when they are well toned, they are the six muscles which are grouped in pairs and run down your stomach from the mid region to your navel.
Important for support of the spine, these muscles are the rectus abdominis, external oblique, internal oblique, and transversus.
