Fleet Admiral (U.S. Navy)
Admiral of the Fleet is a rank of the British Royal Navy and other navies, the equivalent of Fleet Admiral in the United States Navy.
Imperial Japanese Navy. The term gensui was used for both the Navy and the Imperial Japanese Army, and was a largely honorific title awarded for extremely meritorious service to the Emperor. In the Meiji period, the title was awarded to 5 generals and 3 admirals.

He is not an Admiral merely in his capacity as Admiral of the Fleet in the Royal Navy - Australia, like New Zealand and the United Kingdom, maintains a separate rank.
