Measurement of the function and capacity of the urinary bladder by means of pressure volume studies.
Measurement of the pressure and volume of the bladder as it is filled with fluid.
A test used to assess the function of the bladder by measuring the pressure/volume as the bladder is slowly being filled. Cystometry is used to assess bladder, urge sensation, capacity, and compliance. There are different variations of the test depending on the problem being investigated, but regardless of the technique, cystometry involves insertion of a catheter into the bladder.
Measurement of the bladder. Bladder pressure is measured as the bladder is filled. A volume versus pressure graph is produced called a cystometrogram.
diagnostic procedure that measures bladder capacity and pressure changes as the bladder fills and empties.
A dynamic test in which your doctor observes your bladder's behavior as water is pumped into the bladder. During the testing, a number of factors can be assessed, for example: sensation, urgency, capacity, and cause of urine leakage.
