Substances that are less likely to clog pores or promote acne. (There is no official government definition for this term.) Glossary

(Non-occlusive) Does not plug the pores of the skin.

A substance that is not likely to cause acne breakouts.

A product that is non-comedogenic will not clog the skin's pores. All CoppertoneÂ® Oil Free products are non-comedogenic.

Products so labeled do not contain common pore-clogging ingredients that could lead to acne.
