Rhondda is a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. It is also a constituency for the National Assembly for Wales.
The Borough of Rhondda was one of six local government districts of Mid Glamorgan, South Wales from 1974 to 1996.
