The Cheyenne are a Native American nation of the Great Plains. The Cheyenne nation is composed of two united tribes, the Sotaeo'o [no definite translation] and the Tsitsistas, which translates to "Like Hearted People". The name Cheyenne itself derives from a Sioux word meaning 'Little Cree'.
Cheyenne was an Exidy light gun arcade game released in 1984. In this western style shooting game, the player had to guide and protect "Buster Badshot" through various scenes of danger that take place in the old west, using the light gun. As well as keeping the character alive, the player had to kill the wanted bandits for each level.
Cheyenne was a popular and sentimental song in the early 1900s, centering around a horse. Along with songs like "Pony Boy", it became a cliché, as its tune was frequently used in Western movies and cartoons.
