Classes or individual instruction designed to improve parenting skills in such areas as discipline, consistency, and communication; and Parent Training and Information (PTI) provides information and assistance to parents so they can be knowledgeable and effective advocates within service and policy systems.

Support available to the mother and father of a child with special needs to educate them on all aspects of their child's strengths and needs - physically, emotionally, medically, socially and educationally. (mother and father, they are taught/training)

Led by a social worker, prospective parents are offered a classroom opportunity to learn what to expect when their child is placed.
