Ballroom was a 1978 Broadway musical based on the 1975 Emmy Award-winning television drama Queen of the Stardust Ballroom. The book was adapted by Jerome Kaas from his original teleplay, and the score was composed by husband-and-wife songwriting team Alan and Marilyn Bergman. The production, directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, was his first project following the "one singular sensation" known as A Chorus Line three years earlier.
