Miyazaki prefecture occupies the south-western part of Kyushu region, facing the Pacific Ocean. The region is essential rural and the farmers are produces vegetables and fruits thanks to a mild climate.

One of Japan's (and the world's?) most famous animators, Hayao Miyazaki. Having recently retired, he is generally considered to be one of the founders of modern Japanese animation.
