PREST - Policy Research in Engineering, Science and Technology http://www.mbs.ac.uk/research/engineering-policy/index.htm - is a research centre of the University of Manchester http://www.manchester.ac.uk/. (It is now based within Manchester Business School http://www.mbs.ac.uk/, as part of the Institute of Innovation Research.) It was founded in 1977, and has been the base for such researchers as Luke Georghiou, Ken Green, Jeremy Howells, Stan Metcalfe, Ian Miles, Marcela Miozzo, and Maria Nedeva.
