Definitions for "Streaming audio"
Audio that is played back while still downloading the rest of the audio.
Audio downloaded at a rate greater than or equal to the rate that it is being played. Theoretically, streaming audio can play indefinitely.
Normally, when audio files such as MP3s are added to your site, your users will be able to download them, and then play them. You can also set your website up to allow for RealAudio files to be streamed to the user in realtime, rather than waiting for a download. This isn't a default feature for websites, but we can install it for you for a one-time $50 fee. See the "Domain/Email" item of your Features menu.
