A technique that page-jackers use that trick the user into visiting an illegitimate site, and after doing so, when trying to leave, they encounter only additional, unwanted pages.
Mousetrapping is a nifty little web browser trick, which attempts to keep a visitor captive at on a website, often by disabling the 'Back' button or generated repeated pop-up windows.
A term referring to the inability to exit a scammer's site by using the "back", "forward" or "exit" buttons of your browser as a result of programming code in the scammer's website page which effectively disables such buttons.
