A table showing the number of individuals exposed to the risk of illness, sickness, and disease at each age, and the actual number of individuals who incurred an illness, sickness, and disease at each age.
A collection of data used to estimate the amount of loss due to disability resulting from accident or sickness. These figures are used to determine health insurance rates. Similar to the mortality table used in life insurance computation.
Tables constructed by insurance companies and others that provide the probability of illness at a certain age. These tables can have a high degree of accuracy when used for a large number of people. The tables are not very useful to determine if a given individual will become ill.
