Posterior lumbar interbody fusion. A procedure where a disc is removed and a device is inserted into the space where the disc used to be. This encourages fusion between the adjacent vertebrae.
Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. Spinal fusion technique in which the disc is removed through the back of the spinal canal and a bone graft is inserted in the invertebral space also through the back.
Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. An infrequently used surgical procedure in which graft material is inserted into the disc space, as well as in the posterior bony spinal elements.
