To move very close to an enemy craft and fire rapidly, in order to maximize damage. Also, obviously, increases the player's risk of being hit by the enemy's shots (or the enemy itself). A particular type of sneak kill which involves being shot down by a very close-proximity enemy, oftentimes one which charges quickly at the player for just such a purpose. Frustrating to many players, since such a situation gives them little or no time to dodge shots at such close range.
The shooting distance to which one can hit a specified target area without modifying the Point Of Aim. The Mid-Range Trajectory and the Bullet Drop will both fall within the specified area.
Point Blank (original Japanese title: Gun Bullet) is an arcade game first made by Namco in 1994. Players use an attached light gun to hit targets onscreen. Missions require speed, quick judgment or pinpoint accuracy.

The white wine commonly used in France. The term is used on the Rifle Range as the name of a poisonous white paste that is applied to the foresight of the rifle to aid sighting. Its adaption as a name for "Vin Blanc" was brought about partly by the similarity in the spelling of the second word and also partly because of the harsh effect it frequently had on Australians who drank of it to freely.
