Fatima or Fatema (A.S.), the Chief of the women of the worlds, is the daughter of the Prophet (S.A.W.) and the wife of Ali b. Abi Talib (A.S.), the mother of Hasan and Hussein (A.S.)
Fatima, or, in a more exact transliterion, FÄÅ£imah (Arabic: Ùاطمة ), is originally an Arabic name, meaning "She who weans". It is commonly given as a female personal name among Muslims, after Fatima Zahra ("Fatima the gracious"), the daughter of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It is also used (as shortened to MÇŽ (馬)) as a common family name for Chinese Muslims.
