A Sant commissioned to teach the inner path to the seekers after Truth and to grant them contact with the saving life-lines within. Every Satguru is basically a Sant, but every Sant cannot be a Satguru unless and until the Sat-Power in him commands him to take up the work of leading the world weary souls back to the true eternal Home of God (Sach Khand).

Satguru or Sadguru means true guru. (Sanskrit सदगुरू sat=true), literally: true teacher. The title means that his students have faith that the guru can be trusted and will lead them to moksha, enlightenment or inner peace.
