a radiograph taken inside the mouth to show the interproximal surfaces of both upper and lower teeth
These are commonly taken to show decay in the upper portion of the teeth (the biting surfaces). It shows both the upper and lower teeth on one film up to the level of the gum line.
X-ray that reveals the crown and the adjacent tissue of the upper and lower jaws on the same film. It is used to detect decayed areas between teeth.
