Definitions for "BLINDED STUDY"
A clinical trial in which participants do not know if they are in the experimental group (receiving the experimental treatment) or the control group (receiving the standard treatment) of the study. See also double-blind study and single-blind study.
A study design comparing two or more treatments in which neither the investigator nor the participant knows which treatment has been assigned
A clinical trial in which participants are unaware whether they are in the experimental or control arm. (See double-blind study.)
