Definitions for "Manual Reset"
A bi-metal thermostat with a wide differential and a reset button which must be pressed to return the contacts to a closed position (Available in open on rise configurations only).
A mode of operation that requires the operator to push a reset button after the monitored device has entered a safe state, before closing the output contacts of the relay. Example: Manual reset requires the operator to push a reset button after closing the safety gate. The motor will not turn on until the reset button is pressed.
