A white disk to indicate who is the dealer. Typically the 'Button' moves to the player on the left after each hand.
The poker player sitting at the dealer button for a specific hand is said to be "on the button." This gives them the best position, as they will be last to act for every betting round (apart from the first round of betting due to the blinds) giving the advantage of observing opponents actions before deciding on the best course of action.
A distinctive token placed in front of the player sitting in the theoretical dealer's position, when a house dealer is used. The button rotates around the table so that every player has an opportunity to be the last to act.
