maximum power point tracker. A power conditioning unit that automatically operates the PV-generator at its MPP under all conditions. An MPPT will typically increase power delivered to the system by 10% to 40%, depending on climate conditions and battery state of charge.
Maximum power point tracker. A power conditioning unit that increases the power of a PV system by ensuring operation of the PV generator at its Maximum Power Point (MPP). The ability to do so can depend on climate and the battery's state of charge.
