The sum of static pressure and velocity pressure.
The total amount of pressure, measured in Pascals, that an industrial fan or blower produces, including both the static pressure and the velocity pressure.
The sum of the static and velocity pressures.
The sum of all the partial pressures of the gases in a mixture of gases.
(Also called stagnation pressure.) The sum of the static pressure and the dynamic pressure when these concepts are applicable. Since this is the pressure at the stagnation point of a streamline, it is measured by an ideal Pitot tube directed exactly upstream. The total pressure satisfies the hydrostatic equation.
