Definitions for "Advance sheets"
Paperback pamphlets published by law book publishers weekly or monthly which contain reporter cases, including correct volume number and page number. When there are sufficient cases, they are replaced by a bound volume.
Advance sheets are pamphlets containing the most recently reported opinions of a court or the courts of several jurisdictions. The advance sheets essentially are nothing more than slip opinions with a cite and headnotes added. The volume and page numbers in the advance sheets are the same as in the subsequently bound volumes of the series, which cover several numbers of the advance sheets.
The compilation of laws enacted and selected memorials and resolutions adopted during a single legislative session, issued periodically in paperback volumes before the publication of the Oregon Laws.
