Commonly referred to as a cable system. A facility designed for the purpose of receiving multiple broadcast and/or non-broadcast signals and distributing them via coaxial or fiber optic cable to subscribers living in unattached residences not under common ownership. Signals may be received over the air, by satellite or microwave relay, or from the system's studio or remote facilities.
