Definitions for "LDD"
Keywords:  doping, lightly, ltps, tfts, drain
Lightly Doped Drain. Technique of reducing typically high leakage currents of LTPS TFTs by doping of the drain region
Lightly Doped Drain; part of the drain engineering strategy in advanced CMOS; designed to minimize hot-carrier effects; the reduced doping gradient between drain and channel lowers electric field in the channel in the vicinity of the drain; implementation: moderate implant before spacer formation, heavy implant after spacer formation.
Luminaire Dirt Depreciation. Dirt or dust that accumulates on luminaires decreasing the total output of light, lowering the overall efficiency of the system.
An adjustment factor that accounts for the fractional loss of task illuminance due to luminaire dirt accumulation.
Luminaire Dirt Depreciation. The multiplier to be used in illuminance calculations to relate the initial illuminance provided by clean, new luminaires to the reduced illuminance that they will provide due to dirt collection on the luminaires at the time at which it is anticipated that cleaning procedures will be instituted.
