a pull-down list of options, of which the user can choose one
A list on a form from which you can select one or more items by clicking the items. The font selection list in your word-processing program is a good example of this type of list. See Part VI.
The list of items that follow the keyword SELECT in a query. These items may include column names, SQL functions, constants, pseudo-columns, calculations on columns, and aliases. The number of columns in the result of the query will match the number of items in the SELECT list.
A list of suppliers to be established by the Assembly, using the due process of OJEC rules. The Mayor or the Assembly may then use any contractor on the list without having to go through a full OJEC process again. This saves time for anyone needing to set up a high value contract. It may not save time for scrutiny contracts which have all been less than the OJEC limit (£144,000) and which may need specialist suppliers not yet on any list.
