Annual Leave is provided to regular employees for various types of approved absences from work. Regular employees accrue Annual Leave based upon length of service. Refer to The George Washington University Manual of Personnel Policies for use by Supervisory Staff and related approved policy revisions for information on the administration of Annual Leave. When recording Annual Leave in the Time Reporting System, use pay code ANL.

Authorized leave of absence with pay granted an employee for vacation or other personal purposes.

Paid leave which is usually four weeks each year. In most cases you are eligible for annual leave after twelve months of continuous service with one employer.
