Definitions for "Bonding Strength"
The internal strength of a paper; the ability of the fibers within a paper to hold to one another. Bonding strength measures the ability of the paper to hold together on the printing press. Good bonding strength prevents fibers from coming loose ("picking").
The strength of paper or board to withstand layer-to-layer separation. It is the force with which a coating or film adheres to the surface of a sheet.
The ability of fibres on the surface of a paper to adhere to one another and to others below the surface.
