The name of the printer to which your SAP printouts will be sent. When your SAP profile was initially set up, if your default printer was known, it was entered here. If not, you can enter or change it yourself on the "Maintenance" screen. Follow the menu path: SystemUser profileOwn Data and click on the Defaults tab. Setting a default printer eliminates the need to specify an output device (printer) each time you print something.

The printer that is used if you choose the Print command without first specifying which printer you want to use with an application. You can have only one default printer; it should be the printer you use most often.
