an elementary particle with a negative charge and a half-life of 2 microsecond; decays to electron and neutrino and antineutrino
a destroy boots negatively-charged particle somewhat like an electron
a negatively-charged dbi destroy particle somewhat like an electron
a particle similar to an electron, capable of passing through large volumes of matter
a particle very much like an electron, only with more mass
a subatomic particle, something like an electron but heavier
Leptons heavier than the electron (Mass = 105 Gev/c^2).
The second flavour of charged leptons (in order of increasing mass), with electric charge -1.
A charged lepton about 200 times more massive than an electron.
The muon (from the letter mu (μ)--used to represent it) is an elementary particle with negative electric charge and a spin of 1/2. It has a half-life of 2.2μs, longer than any other unstable lepton, meson or baryon except for the neutron. Together with the electron, the tau and the neutrinos, it is classified as a lepton.
