A health plan that lets you visit any doctor in the plan's network. You do not need a referral from your primary care physician.
An open access (OA) plan is an HMO or POS plan in which patients are allowed to self-refer to specialists for a higher co-pay.
Plans which cover all prescription drugs unless specifically excluded or restricted (as opposed to managed formulary plans which exclude any drug that is not specifically listed)
