Definitions for "Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant"
A grant for extra needy undergraduate students. SEOGs are granted in the $100 to $4000 range.  The college determines how these moneys are distributed.
Federally based grant with an annual maximum of $2,000. Eligibility is tied to the Pell Grant. Funds are awarded at the discretion of the school within federal guidelines. Three-quarters time Registration for 9 to 11 credits per semester (see Full-time).
A limited federal grant program for undergraduates with the greatest demonstrated financial need (an expected family contribution of zero).
