Graphic depictions of a building on paper or CAD, prepared as the basis for a construction contract. They include floor plans at multiple scales, building and wall sections, details and schedules, as well as architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings. They do not reflect changes made during construction unless stamped "As-built" or "Record Drawings". Sometimes referred to as Construction Drawings or CDs. A complete set of scaled drawings with keyed notes detailing the work required and types of materials to be used in constructing the improvements; synonymous with construction drawings.
The set of plans for a building or project that comprise the contract documents that indicate the precise manner in which a project is to be built. This set of plans includes a set of specifications for the building or project.
The set of plans for a project that, in combination with a set of specifications, comprise the contract documents indicating the exact manner in which a project should be built. See also "Contract Documents" (not on our list).
(n) The complete set of standardized drawings that specify the manufacture and assembly of a design. Depending on the complexity of the design, working drawings may be on more than one sheet and may contain written instructions, called specifications. Working drawings are often synonymous with the "blueprints" of a design.
Drawings of the project that are used in the construction of structure, they are part of the contract documents.
