Definitions for "Fine Print"
Small type in an insurance policy contract, supposedly containing the exclusions, reductions, exemptions, and limitations of the coverage. (Most state laws include specification of the minimum type size that can be used in a policy and also usually provide that exclusions, etc., cannot be printed in type smaller than the type stating the benefits; therefore, the popular concept of fine print no longer has validity.)
