Definitions for "PLL"
Keywords:  drift, loop, phase, synthesizer, lock
Phase lock loop. PLL is a major component in the frequency synthesizer scheme. This device provides a wide flexible range of internal frequency dividers which allow the designer the ability to create a synthesizer to match his needs.
Phased Locked Loop. A self-correcting feedback circuit used in VFO's or frequency synthesizers to provide a stable radio frequency source for receivers and transmitters.
(Phase Lock Loop): A phase lock loop is a component that generates an output clock by synchronizing itself to an input clock. PLLs are often used to multiply the frequency of clocks.
Prolymphocytic leukemia. A type of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in which too many immature white blood cells (prolymphocytes) are found in the blood and bone marrow. PLL usually progresses more rapidly than classic CLL.
