The even-numbered page following the title page that displays copyright notices, publisher information, ISBN, LCCN, and Cataloging-in-Publication data.
The page is usually located on the verso of the title page, and contains the publisher's information, copyright notices, disclaimers, and the Library of Congress Information. This page is the most important page for collectors of Modern First Editions.

Another name for the IMPRINT PAGE.
The reverse side of the title page, lists printing information, copyright, pulisher, printer, etc.
The reverse (back side) of the title page is called the copyright page which, in modern books, contains pertinent bibliographic information regarding the work. The copyright page is always located on the back side of the title page so that it cannot be separated from the title page. Often the impression or edition of the work appears on the copyright page. The location of the publication should also be indicated here. If a date or edition is present on the title page check it against the copyright page for corroborating information. The latest date appearing on the copyright page must correspond to at least within one year of the copyright date of the work in order for the book to be considered a first, and it must not contain information of subsequent printings such as "Third Impression". (see also TITLE PAGE)
