A development permit is one of two types of approvals for assessable development. It authorises development to start and must be obtained for each aspect of development that is assessable.
A document, authorizing a development, issued by the Approving Authority , that includes plans and conditions of approval and establishes form, intensity and appearance. A Building Permit may also be required.
Includes any building permit, zoning permit, subdivision approval, rezoning, certification, special exception, variance, or any other official action of local government having the effect of permitting the development of land.
Any permit issued by the Administrator after a finding by the Administrator that the proposed development activity complies with all applicable provisions of the Code and other County regulations.
