Leading son of the seventh generation after Adam (a privileged place), who becomes an important figure in the Jewish pseudepigrapha and in apocalyptic literature in general.
Enoch: a Spiritual Master written about in the Bible and other sacred texts. The Keys of Enoch partially were written by this Spiritual Master. Enoch metaphysically means "the man who walks with God."
According to the Bible, Enoch was a prophet who predicted the judgment of the ungodly (Jude 4-19). The Bible says that "Enoch walked with God and he was not, for God took him" (Genesis 5:24). This has been interpreted as the record of his ascension; he is now known as the ascended master Enoch.
