eRoom is eRoom Technology's (formerly Instinctive Technologies) team collaboration software application that creates secure, shared digital workspaces on the Internet for distributed project teams to do their work. The eRoom is a secured extranet or Intranet which, by enabling teams to discuss ideas, share information and make decisions all within a central location, also provides a valuable knowledge management solution. First launched in 1997, eRoom is now used by over 500 companies worldwide including Andersen Consulting, A.T. Kearney, Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Fidelity Investments, Sybase, Cisco and Pfizer. Companies also use eRoom for a range of other applications including product launches, proposal development, the establishment and coordination of changes across the supply chain and the management of consulting engagements from requirements through delivery. eRoom was one of the first independent software vendors to incorporate Microsoft's Digital Dashboard into a collaborative application.
