Robin is a fictional superhero published by DC Comics. Robin has long been a fixture in the Batman comic books as Batman's sidekick. Since Dick Grayson's first appearance as Robin in 1940, several different youths have appeared as Robin.
Timothy "Tim" Drake is a DC Comics fictional superhero who, as Robin, is Batman's sidekick but also a young hero in his own right. Tim is the third and current Robin.
