shruti is a naad that can be distiguished clearly by the ear. Veterans realize 22 shruties in a saptak.
Micro-tones. Also used in the sense of pitch, interval or intonation.
To hear. Sound intervals that the ear can reasonably discern which exist between recognised notes or swars.
