A device that is used to reduce or eliminate electrical interference caused by the ignition system or other electrical components.
A device designed to nearly totally absorb the sound of the discharging of pressurized gases exiting the muzzle. It can also be an integral assembly with the barrel. See also Silencer and Sound Moderator.
A power protection device able to recognize surge conditions and reacts by shunting excess energy away from equipment and out to the electrical grounding system.
A tubular device that is press fitted onto the front end of a paintgun barrel designed to reduce the amount of sound that is made by the gun when it is fired. Also known as Silencer.
A suppressor (popularly known as a silencer, although no suppressor "silences" a firearm completely), is a device attached to a firearm to reduce the amount of noise and flash generated by firing the weapon. It generally takes the form of a cylindrically-shaped metallic tube that is fitted onto the barrel of the firearm, with various internal mechanisms to reduce the sound of firing by manipulating the escaping propellant gas, and sometimes by reducing the velocity of the bullet.
