The phrase "mind's eye" refers to the human ability for visual perception, imagination, visualization, and memory, or, in other words, one's ability to "see" things with the mind.
The Mind's Eye series consists of several art films rendered using computer-generated imagery of varying levels of sophistication, though it is far outstaged by the CGI used in recent movies such as the The Lord of the Rings adaptations, and even by the early examples in Jurassic Park. The series began in 1990. It is produced by Animation Entertainment (formally know as Odyssey Productions & Miramar Productions).
The human faculty held capable of seeing a mental vision consisting of an imaginary or recollected sight as opposed to one actually seen at the time. Usually experienced as occurring somewhere in the center of the forehead.
