The transcript is an official record of classes taken and grades earned for each student. It is maintained by the Office of the Registrar. The transcript is required to be sent to all colleges and universities, some job applications, and is used by the military for promotion points.

Unofficial transcripts are identical to official transcripts in content but are issued to students for their personal use or to individuals as specified by the student.
