Definitions for "Permanent record"
Information that has been designated for continuous preservation because of reference, historical, or administrative significance to the institution (ARMA International).
A record of an individual's continuing education or training participation, which is maintained by a provider. Frequently referred to as a learner record or transcript, the provider must maintain the record for a minimum of 7 years and provide a copy of the individual's record upon request of the individual.
A brief document upon which essential information is entered and preserved. The contents of the permanent record are specified in the Illinois Student Records Act.
The card on which the Registrar lists all student's courses, semester hours credit, grades, status and certain personal information.
