Steam was a pop-rock music group best known for the 1969 number one hit song and perennial favorite "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye". The song was written and recorded by studio musicians Gary DeCarlo, Dale Frashuer, and producer/writer Paul Leka. The single was attributed to the band "Steam," although at the time there was actually no group of that name.
"Steam" is the first planned solo single from Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls debut album. It was recorded in 2006 with producer Bryan Michael Cox, with a release planned for a February 2007, as she said during the pre-show of the 2006 American Music Awards before The Pussycat Dolls second album is released. This song has already been leaked onto the internet.
"Steam" is the third single from Peter Gabriel's 1992 album, Us.
