Industry Numbering Council
Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee. The INC met during five sessions between February 1991 and May 1992 to draft the Convention; in met six more times to prepare for COP-1 before completing its work in February 1995.
Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee. Originally established as the Ad hoc Working Group of Experts on Biological Diversity, the INC met in 1991-92 to draft the Convention in time for adoption at the Rio Earth Summit.
Institutional National Council. The governing body where union policy and procedure concerning the negotiation and all dealings with specific institutions. The Institutional National Council consists of at least one elected member from each branch committee.
